Chardonnay Starting to Ferment

Every year, we sit around, worry and wait for the chardonnay to start fermenting. Using "natural" yeast takes guts and causes me stress. Happily, the chardonnay started yesterday.

If you visit the winery, you can listen and hear it go. It takes a second and is a little disconcerting - sticking your ear on a bung hole. Of course, it is a sweet sound.
